One of These Things is Not Like the Others

300px-Sesame_Street_Characters

How can you sum up forty years of teaching small rocket propelled tots to sit for a while and soak up the priceless sounds of letters? Those letters turned into words, and the words into sentences and on and on. Sesame Street , which celebrates it’s 40th birthday today, taught me to read, sing and dance with the floppy muppets. Grover made me giggle, Cookie Monster made me hungry and Bert and Ernie were the best odd couple ever to co-habitate. I just have to stop here momentarily to comment on how Maria is clearly in league with the devil since she is obviously aging backwards.
So thank you Sesame Street for everything and happy birthday!
