I Won, I Fucking Won!

I will have you know that someone, somewhere out there likes me. And because of this I ran by three suspicious looking hooded youths in the alley like a fucking woman on fire to get back in the house to pick up my award and bask in the glow of my narcissism.

I know the pain in the ass rules say I have to nominate like seven other blogs I really like, but she gets props first since she handed me the badge of honor. (Not a real badge mind you, but an award nonetheless. Don’t diminish my moment asshole.)

http://forthebirdsblog.com  Typing something about Ry Sal is about as close as I come to her greatness creatively and insight wise.  She is a powerhouse whose white hotness will scorch your retinas beyond repair. 

http://rockandrollmama.com  Not only is she local, she epitomizes “Goddess of Rock”. (I think I am abusing quotes in this post) That, and she sheds bright light on the realities of trying not to part ways with cool and how to cope with a husband on tour. (Great for those married to the music AND the musicians)

I feel like they should have let me put twenty on this list as seven doesn’t even come close to cutting it, but my blogroll shows the true extent of my love (and to be fair, my envy).
